On September 14, 2017, the Fifth National Forestry Machinery Development Conference and the 2017 China International Forestry Machinery Exhibition opened in Hefei, Anhui Province. General Engineer Feng Jiaping, State Forestry Administration, Deputy Director Zhang Yanhong, Accounting and Finance Department of State Forestry Administration, Director Zhou Zefeng, Industry Department of Forest Reform Department of State Forestry Administration, Director Liu Meng, Preventive Department of Forestry Public Security Bureau of State Forestry Administration, Vice Director Qiu Hui, Forestry Department of Anhui Province, Chairman Liu Qun of China Forestry Machinery Association and Director of Beijing Forestry Machinery Institute of State Forestry Administration President Wansi, Vice President Xu Kesheng of Harbin Forest Machinery Institute of State Forestry Administration, Vice President Zhang Zhiping of Nanjing Forestry Police College, Secretary-General Wei Jian of China Forestry Machinery Association, Chairman Yang Jie of Anhui Zhongshi International Conference and Exhibition Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the meeting.



From forestry departments of Anhui, Shanghai, Henan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangxi, Ningxia, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Jilin provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions), some state-owned forest areas, state-owned forest farms, economic forest circles, forestry institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes, relevant industry organizations, as well as forestry machinery manufacturing enterprises, procurement. More than 500 people from business and user units attended the meeting.
Chief Engineer Feng Jiaping of the State Forestry Administration made an important speech at the opening ceremony of the General Assembly. Fengzhong affirmed that forestry machinery is the equipment support of forestry modernization, and its rapid development has provided the basic premise for speeding up the process of forestry industrialization in China, and has made tremendous contributions. He pointed out that the realization of forestry mechanization is an important symbol of realizing forestry modernization, a new requirement for accelerating land greening and a key measure for improving forest quality; the realization of forestry mechanization is also an urgent requirement for realizing the great development of China's forestry industry, and also an important content for speeding up the reform of forestry supply side.


Qiu Hui, deputy director of the Forestry Department of Anhui Province, delivered a speech on behalf of the provincial department.
